How long have you been in business?
Since 2015. We started as a one-man operation and grew from there.
Are you locally owned?
Yes. Owned and operated by Michael Moore right here in Lubbock. Not a franchise, not a call center, not a national chain.
Do you have a storefront I can visit?
No. We closed our retail store in January 2025. We are a service-area business — our technicians come to your home.
What areas do you serve?
Lubbock and surrounding communities including Wolfforth, Shallowater, Slaton, and Idalou.
Are you licensed?
Yes. TDLR licensed — RAIC #1101 and RAIL #468154.
Are you insured?
Fully insured — general liability, commercial auto, umbrella, and workers compensation.
About Repairs
How much does a service call cost?
Our service charge covers the trip to your home and a full on-site diagnostic. We pre-research your model before we arrive so we come prepared. After diagnosis, we give you a flat-rate price before any work begins.
Do you charge by the hour or flat rate?
Flat rate. Once we diagnose the problem, you know exactly what the repair costs before we start. No surprises, even if it takes longer than expected.
What does the service charge include?
The trip to your home and as much time as needed to diagnose the problem accurately. We research your specific model and common failure points before we arrive.
What if you cannot fix it?
If the repair does not make financial sense, we will tell you. We would rather give you an honest assessment than take your money on a repair that is not worth it. You only pay the service charge for the diagnosis.
What brands do you work on?
All major brands — Whirlpool, Maytag, Samsung, LG, GE, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Bosch, Speed Queen, Amana, and many more. We are warranty authorized for Electrolux/Frigidaire and Speed Queen. If you are not sure about your brand, call us and we will let you know before you schedule.
Do you work on commercial equipment?
We are expanding into commercial service. We currently handle Speed Queen commercial laundry equipment and are adding commercial beverage equipment and Laundrylux commercial laundry lines.
Do you repair garbage disposals?

Do you install appliances?
Generally no. We are a repair company, not an installation company. There are rare exceptions but installation is not a standard service we offer.
Do you work on small appliances like toasters or blenders?
No. We service major household appliances only — refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, and similar built-in or freestanding units. We also do not typically work on countertop microwaves because they are inexpensive to replace.
What is your warranty?
365-day parts and labor warranty on every repair where we replace a part. If our repair fails within one year, we come back and fix it at no charge — or we apply the full cost of the original repair toward resolving the underlying issue.
What does your warranty NOT cover?
Damage from misuse, neglect, lack of preventative maintenance, pest or rodent damage, electrical surges, or commercial use of a residential appliance. The warranty covers the specific repair we performed — not unrelated issues that develop later.
Is an extended warranty worth buying for my appliance?
It depends on the appliance and how long you plan to keep it. For expensive-to-repair appliances like refrigerators and front-load washers, an extended warranty can make sense — especially once the manufacturer warranty expires. For cheaper appliances like basic dryers or countertop microwaves, the warranty often costs more than the repair would. Call us and we will give you an honest opinion for your specific situation.

How do I schedule a repair?

What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Do you offer same-day service?
When our schedule allows it. Call early in the day for the best chance at a same-day appointment.
What are your arrival windows?
3-hour windows. We call or text before we head your way.
Will you call before you arrive?
Yes, always. We call or text when we are on our way so you are not waiting around wondering.
Do you work weekends?
Not currently.
Do you service apartments and gated communities?
Yes. Just provide gate codes or access instructions when you schedule and we will handle the rest.
About the Owner
What is your background?
I grew up in the appliance repair business and have a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas Tech. I have been diagnosing and repairing appliances since I was old enough to hold a wrench.
What makes you different from other repair companies in Lubbock?
We diagnose before we replace. A lot of repair companies swap parts and hope for the best — we call that parts changing. We identify the actual cause of the failure before recommending anything. That is why we can back every repair with a full 365-day warranty. We stand behind the diagnosis, not just the part.
