About Lubbock Appliance Repair
Lubbock Appliance Repair Is Locally Owned — Not a Franchise
Lubbock Appliance Repair is locally owned and operated by Michael Moore. We’re not a national franchise, a corporate chain, or an answering service that dispatches contractors. When you call us, you speak with our team. When we come to your home, it’s a technician we hired, trained, and stand behind.

Michael grew up in the appliance repair business. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from Texas Tech University and spent years in the field before founding Lubbock Appliance Repair in 2015. Prior to that, he worked at Salem Appliance Repair starting in 2009 — first as a technician, then as general manager. That combination of hands-on technical experience and engineering training shapes how we approach every job: systematically, honestly, and with the tools and knowledge to do it right. That includes access to wiring diagrams and factory schematics for every appliance we service — not guesswork.
Diagnosis First. Repair Second.
We don’t swap parts and hope. We diagnose. That means identifying the actual cause of a failure before recommending or installing anything. If a part is replaced and later determined not to have been the cause, the customer is not charged for it. That’s not a policy we advertise as a gimmick — it’s just how we think repair work should be done.
Every repair where we replace a part is backed by a 365-day parts and labor warranty. That’s a full year. Most competitors in Lubbock offer 90 days. Our warranty covers the part we installed and the labor to install it. If the same problem recurs within 365 days due to the same failed component, we come back and fix it at no additional charge. We stand behind our work because we’re still here in Lubbock — there’s no national call center to hide behind.
